Laura Lowery is a Boston University Faculty Member who has established a career in Biomedical Studies. But before she is a Scientist or Academic Professional, Lowery is a human… just like everyone else.
As Motivational Speaker, she shines the spotlight on the importance of reminding herself (and everyone around her) that everyone is human: multifaceted with flaws, strengths and all.
Laura Lowery has always been fascinated by life itself. If she wasn’t, she never would have launched a life for herself in Biomedical Studies! After spending decades focused on the more scientific side of life, Lowery has started to embrace the more feeling-based, intentional emotion side of the journey. For the lifelong scientist, this has come in the form of embracing a new identity as an amateur artist. She has also started to integrate practices like intentional breathing and meditation into her daily life. Along the way, she is finding a sense of peace and renewal that is strengthening her ability to grasp a healthier work-life balance. But it’s not just about Lowery… She’s sharing this outlook with longtime family and friends, too!
